Feathers, Feathers all around! June 2, 2008 Michael Ombrellino (Brooklyn, NY United States) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
The feathers are just everywhere! My entire bedroom is covered in a layer of tiny feathers. I cannot keep up with them. I even purchased a comforter cover but alas, it does no good. Do not purchase this comforter if you like a feather free environment.
Held up for six months March 9, 2008 Kellie Conn (Nashville, TN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The cover is very soft, but my home is full of tiny feathers that poke through the cover; far more than expected. I would not purchase this item again. The "down leaks" got much worse after about six months. I am pulling feathers out of my hair every morning. Perhaps a high thread-count duvet cover would solve this problem. I have also found that the down has shifted into little pockets at the edges of the comforter.
Feathers Everywhere! January 7, 2008 dhan (Austin, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We've used this for about 1 year and are currently shopping for a new comforter. I normally expect to see a couple of feathers when using a down comforter. This is ridiculous though. The feathers work themselves out of the comforter very easily. Our bed, pajamas, duvet cover, bedroom are covered in feathers.
Very warm and comfortable August 26, 2007 Shugoro (SLC, UT) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After spending more than three weeks in our poorly insulated manufactured home with outside temperatures not getting above -20 degrees, we wanted something to keep us toasty at nights. This did not disappoint. We were stacking layers of blankets trying to stay warm (we have a big, cheap window right above our bed). Once this arrived, we use it with one blanket on top, and sleep like babies. We do not notice any problems with the down bunching up in the pockets.
