Amazed! December 30, 2008 Nikkole Grant 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am really amazed at how these sheets fit my bed. I have a really thick matress and these sheets fit it almost perfectly. They are a little saggy on the sides, but at least it covers them. I love the way these sheets feel. They are nice and soft. whoever said theirs were rough must not have washed them first. My problem was when i was making the bed and the top sheet kept wanting to slide when i was tucking the bottom of it. As expected with a satin sheet, the pillows do slide when i'm sleeping, but i still love them. I use those sheet clips from wal-mart so my bottom sheet doesn't creep up. i reccommend those and they only cost about a dollar or two. overall, i love the sheet and they are well worth the $20 i paid for them. (i got the gold, no staining.)
Royal satin sheets December 27, 2008 Kelina Ruiz (Bronx, NY) The set of sheets was absolutely beautiful, I chose the Gold color to match my room. The quality was great and comfortable that you don't want to get up from bed.
Short-Lived Quality December 26, 2008 N. Nolle This is my first set of satin sheets. I bought these sheets as the first set for a new mattress. I washed the sheets before use and have not noticed any staining on the bed. No real problems except for the relative short life of the product. The sheets were soft and cool. They were a huge step up from regular cotton sheets in a muggy Missouri summer. The sheets were breathable and did not trap heat in the night. Unfortunately, frequent jumping on and off the bed by the dog has caused the sheets to become rather rough at the base. While the satin hasn't torn, much of the allure of a soft fabric is lost. Overall, I rate these a 4-star because the value returned for the price payed was good. They lost a star because the sheets don't stay anchored and slip off the mattress a bit too easily.
satin December 21, 2008 David J. Bower (Grand Bay, Alabama) Havent used them yet but I was a little disappointed in the quality. I only paid about 16 dollars for them so I guess its not a bad buy but I see where they are selling for much more now. Sateen in the same thread count would probably be more comfy and durable.
slippery! December 21, 2008 Sheri A. Pietras 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I should have known better. Even first putting the sheets on my bed, they would slip off the bed. Trying to sleep on them-didnt work! my pillow kept slidding around every time I moved all night. the top sheet too kept slidding off, the blanket, everything. I hate them! I had to put my old sheets back on and I'll never use these again.
