These bed-rests are firm and soft. The handle is a nice feature and it has a side pocket that I haven't found a use for yet. We bought two. They both seem durable and are very comfortable.

I bought a few others before i found this one and by far this has been the best and cheapest. The backrest is very soft and plush, though i should have bought it in a different color. It's not by any means perfect, because if like me you use it every day for hours, the plushiness then decreases a bit. I suggest you give it a couple hours of rest, as i have learned to do. I noticed some complained that it looks like it's going to come apart after a few uses. Maybe it is because i have a cute cover for it and don't pick it off from the top when i move it around but the arms.
The side pockets are also very useful. I can put my remotes, cordless phone or even thumb drives depending on why am using the backrest. So far i use it for when am using my netbook in bed or couch; watching TV in bed; reading in the couch or bed.

It is too hard and too rigid.. the one I had before the dog ate it was gooshy and comfortable and supportive. this one is also very heavy to lift.. still looking for the right one...

I LOVE the Brentwood Vintage Plush Bedrest!
It's so comfortable to use on your bed or sofa to support your back for reading, using your laptop, or even just watching t.v.
It's not hard like a rock like some of those other bedrests. It's soft yet firm enough to give you just the amount of support that you need.
It even has pockets on the outside of the armrests to keep your cellphone or remotes! How cute and convenient! They're really thought that out well.
I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants support and comfort while in an upright position.

It serves its purpose well, looks good, feels good. I thought I wasn't going to like how hard it was at first but after using it for a while its more comfortable than I thought it would be. The only downfall is the cloth handle at the top.. It is very weak and feels like it is going to rip at any second, forcing me to bear hug it to carry it anywhere. Other than that, its great!
