 Best Air Matress I have ever used! June 4, 2010

I have tried at least 4 other brands of Air Mattresses over the years, and this is by far the best one I have ever owned and slept on. My wife even thinks this is somewhat more comfortable than our $1200 select comfort bed! We have used this mattress for over a year now, and we always take it with us when visiting family, or taking a vacation. The raised height is almost perfect and we like the ease of adjustability of softness or firmness.
The queen size has enough room to sleep 2 adults fairly comfortably, and the bed is very durable. We have not let my son jump on the bed, but it has not yet developed any leaks or holes. The pump seems to be of high quality and will quickly inflate the bed to your desired firmness, and can even be used in reverse to help get every last pocket of air out when you are deflating.
I have purchased 2 other air beds in the past, and they both flopped! One developed a leak within a few hours after the 1st use, and the other developed a dead battery after only 1 use. This Bed has held up very well so far and with the corded electric motor, I do not have to worry about how long to charge the battery. I did purchase this from Amazon and I am glad I did. I paid a little more than for some of the other brands, but I think that I got the best deal in the long run! Spend a few extra bucks now and get the quality!!

A month after we bought this air mattress the pump quit working. I am very disapointed for the price we paid for this to happen. Buyers be wary.

All of our old inflatable mattresses had slowly developed leaks over time. So, we wanted to get a mattress with a solid reputation. Well, this mattress worked great and the built in inflation/deflation is fantastic. The mattress held its air perfectly for about 6 months. Unfortunately, our dog got up on top and managed to make a small puncture mark, so now it slowly deflates. I don't hold this one against Aerobed though, just be careful if you have dogs!

Very poor quality.
It did not retain its shape during the first use - the sides expanded so much it became more square in shape and even deep pocket sheets did not fit well and would come off constantly.
During the third use it popped explosively in the middle of the night - a small seam gave way under a pillow (i.e., it was not punctured).
