A little bit of heaven April 28, 2010 Roseann P. Garcia (San Antonio,Tex) I love my new fine linens. The quality is outstanding and they feel better than a blanket. Would recommend.
Heavy but soft enough April 18, 2010 e_e (Menlo Park, CA USA) As heavy as canvass, but soft enough, especially after a few washings. I like the substantial feel of these sheets.
Awesome sheets! March 23, 2010 A. Welch (QUINCY, MA, US) These are some luxurious sheets very smooth and elegant feeling...they are a dream to sleep on!
Sweet life -- sweet sleep, they are connected March 22, 2010 Paul H. Miller Jr. (Plano, TX) These sheets are fantastic. Heavy, silky soft but no snagging your toenails. These are easily the BEST sheets I've ever used. Flawless stitching. This will make even good sleepers sleep better
Really like them but have issues... March 9, 2010 Anonymous10,000 I love heavy, thick sheets; if you don't, you won't like these.
I bought these when I couldn't fine the 1,000-count sheets I like at Bed Bath and Beyond (for which I paid a lot more). These are really nice but have their shortcomings.
The stitching/finishing is not nearly as nice as the BBB sheets I used to be able to get. The BBB sheets had piping along the top and the pillowcases had the French pocket for the pillow end; these don't have either.
Worst thing about these is that one of the four pillow cases was obviously a reject for stitching reasons and then was thrown back into the "sell" pile post-finish; the stitching is off and the fabric is rough, not like the rest of the set; it clearly didn't go through the final process to make the fabric softer.
However, the color is great; they're thick and heavy, and the chevron pattern is cool. The taupe sheets look great with Amazon's Pinzon blanket in chocolate, which also has a chevron pattern.
I've ordered these shame sheets in sea foam with a taupe Pinzon blanket. Again, the "sale" price was great. Would not have bought these at list. I got them on sale so I can live with the defects.
