I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SONS ROOM. IT LOOKED WONDERFUL IN THE BOX. HE COMPLAINED THAT THE FEATHERS STABBED HIM, AND THERE WERE FEATHERS EVERYWERE. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!!!!!!!

No odor, no feathers leaking, either. From the first day I used it, every time I push my hand down on it, it plumps right up.
I keep my thermostat down to save on gas bills, and this certainly helps.
I have read the reviews about problems with washing, so I'm going to look for a cover for it, so I'll just wash that instead.

Very soft and comfortable. My cat was able to run on it twice and rip it with his back claws easily, but other than that it is very comfortable

5 out of 5 stars Great Comforter...   October 14, 2009

Well I feel the negative reviews are from people who have never owned a comforter with FEATHERS in it. When you wash it is gonna stink. It needs to be dried correctly. The odor goes away when it is fully dried. You are gonna have some feathers escape also. Use a lint brush on it... a little common sense goes along way.
I have the navy blue one and a sage and a red. I have no complaints at all. Tese comforters are great for the price.

From the moment I put this dark blue comforter on the bed it shed white feathers all over. I have to vacuum it to get most of them off. It is comfortable and warm but wish it looked better. White feathers on dark blue show up.
