Awesome pillow! March 8, 2010 Mark Johnson (Detroit, MI, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Hands down the best travel pillow I've owned. The support is great and it beats those neck U shaped pillows by a mile. I was actually able to sleep on a recent long haul international flight thanks to the travelrest pillow. It's so good my brother, cousin, and sister in law ended up buying them for their next trips. Whenever I wasn't sleeping they wanted to use it!
As someone else said, wearing it like a messenger bag is the best way to do it if you're trying to sleep on the plane, simply cuddling with it won't work because it'll be popping out of place even if it is just attached to the seatbelt. I'd also agree with bringing a pillow case from home maybe to cover it because it seems a little more "familiar" to the person wearing it, the suede is a little weird on the face. Grab a hoodie or blanket, and eye blinders and you'll be sleeping in no time with this pillow.
If you're planning on taking any long flights and have tried over and over again to find a good resting pillow look no further. Buy this and you will probably wonder how you ever made it through with the other types of pillow.

TravelRest pillow February 20, 2010 Richard Jeffers (HOUSTON, TEXAS, US) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's OK but not nearly as comfortable as I expected, nor as convenient as the one we lost when our car was stolen. The strings and cuff are a little awkward to use. In fact, my wife won't use it because of that. It's also hard to blow up until you get used to doing a couple of times. I would not recommend the product to anyone.
Use two pillows for ultimate comfort February 16, 2010 Lady Lawyer (Washington, DC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought two TravelRest inflatable travel pillows for a trip to Israel and back to the New York. Typically, I use an inflatable c-shaped neck pillow, but I have never been very comfortable sleeping because those pillows are too big in the back of my neck. Both of my flights were overnight (9-1/2 and 11 hours). I slept better than usual on flights and did not have pain in my neck like I usually do. The pillow works best when attached to the seat belt as the instructions point out, attached both pillows after inflating them and dropped the attached strings behind my back. I liked being able to hug the two pillows in front of me. Another advantage of using two pillows is that when you want to sleep on alternative sides, you don't have to move the pillow. If you inflate just after takeoff you will want to leave some room for it to inflate more as you gain altitude or it will be too full. The pillows look a bit funny -- they remind me of bananas -- but you will be sleeping so if anyone laughs you won't even notice!
I finally found an airplane pillow that works and is portable February 14, 2010 L. Campbell (Bellingham, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The key, I think, to being comfortable with the TravelRest pillow is to attach the cord to the loop at the bottom of the pillow, then sling the cord over your shoulder so the pillow goes across you like the shoulder harness of a seat belt. Then tuck your arms into the loop (under the pillow) as you cross them in front of you. When I do that, it keeps the pillow firmly in position and my neck at an angle where it doesn't complain. I've tried other inflatable pillows, neck collars, bean bags, etc. -- this is the one that works for me. The other big pluses: It inflates and deflates easily, and it packs very small. Plus you can easily attach it to the handle of your carry-on, so it doesn't take up any space at all. It seems as if every time I get on an airplane I'm in the air for at least 5 hours, so the TravelRest pillow is a blessing, and if I ever lose this one, I'll buy another in a heartbeat.
