My older blanket was almost gone and I shopped around the stores for a new one. Not a single store had a twin size and I was told they were seasonal. So I looked online and finally found some here. This one looked nice and had a warranty. When I got it in the mail, it was packed very well and delivered on time. I opened it up and put it on my bed right away and turned it on to test it. In no time the bed was warm. The control is easy to use and easy to see. The blanket is nice and soft and well made. I also really like the color. If I had the money, I would buy another one because I really don't want to be without one. This blanket is well worth the money.The only setting I use is low which is what I call "snuggly warm".

This is absolutely ridiculous. This is the second unit I have gone thru already. The first one didn't last a week when I washed it on the gentle cycle as directed. I brought it back to the store. This time I placed it under the sheets as not to have to wash it as often. I turned the unit off, allowed it to cool, unplugged it from the wall. Then unplugged the controls from the blanket. Washed on gentle. Hang dried it. I plugged the controls back in. Then plug it into the wall and the controls are blinking yet again! I paid $90 for this, I wouldn't say I got my monies worth at all! My parents still have the ones we abused as kids over 28 years ago! I'm waiting for sunbeam to contact me back, I wonder what they will have to say. I hope their customer service is better than their quality control.

We ordered this blanket for our guest room but when we saw it we put the one on our bed in the guest room and the new one on our bed. It is longer then the other and softer. I especially like the longer length.
Auto Shut-Off March 21, 2009

While 10 hours is a lot of sleep before auto shut-off, I think it would be better if the user could select 8, 10, 12, or 14 hours before auto shut-off kicks in. Otherwise the blanket is excellent. It heats quickly, is soft, and appears to be well made. Please allow me to point to your product picture and description...it's a twin blanket, but you show two controllers in your product picture. Thank You.

this blanket pills like crazy after washing. also the seem split right open after the first time i washed & dried according to instructions. it did keep me toasty warm at night but i've used other electric blankets made of better material. The fabric of this blanket is horrible & the seem is cheaply sewn to open up a foot long after 1 washing.....i am returning this blanket.
