my guest was happy March 14, 2010 luisa (Brooklyn, NY) My guest slept on it for one week and she was really happy, at the point to say, before leaving, I want one for my guests too! So I assume it was comfortable. It only took us for ever to understand how to inflate it, cause of the extra accessories the bed comes with, and we though every single piece was meant to be used. But besides it, everything else went just smoothly!
My 3rd and last AERO bed. They all leaked under 6 months. February 21, 2010 desert rat (Phoinex,AZ USA) Over the years I've owned 3 AERO BEDs for travel and a extra bed at home. All 3 leaked within 6 months and after a dozen or so inflations.Although I bought the first two at Bed Bath & Beyond, when they went bad I tried repeatedly to warranty them by phone as AERO BEDs instructions advise. When hold times became unreasonable (over 20 minutes) I hung up and took them back to the place of purchase for exchange in one instance and refund in another. This time I bought it at Amazon.com .Once it failed I again tried repeatedly to reach AERO BED's customer service and found even though it had been several years since My first two purchases, hold times were still in excess of 20 minutes.Life is to short, I hung up.This is obviously part of AERO BED's marketing stradegy. It's to bad because if they were reliable I'd buy an extra, recommend them and give them as gifts. But they are designed to fail. They always leak at the same place, the weld seams on the top.For the disposable low quality nature of this product and the uselessness of the warranty it significantly overpriced. It's hard to think of how many of these leak stricken beds are just contibuting to the other NON-Recyclables in land fills instead of being useful.
Aerobed Queen Size February 20, 2010 E. Myles (Wantagh, New York USA) Good for sleep overs with the kids or when you need that extra bed for friends spending the night. Sturdy and easy to assemble in just minutes. Folds up in its own storage bag.
Worked well for my tall, strong 24 year old nephew February 13, 2010 Daniel Cooper (Brooklyn, NY, USA) This may not be a definitive review because it only pertains to one week of use, but for that week it served its purpose. My nephew, a tall, strong young man, came to stay with us, and we bought this mattress for him to use. I designated him Minister of Inflation and Deflation upon his arrival, and on his first night he opened the Amazon package, took out the bed (this wasn't his first time using an inflatable bed) and blew it up. He loved that it had an electric pump that worked flawlessly.
He slept well on the bed every night, but it's important to point out that the bed deflated a bit every night. He didn't bother to "top it off" until a good four days had gone by, at which point he commented that it should be topped off every night. So that's worth noting if you're going to sleep an adult on it.
It looks great, twin bedding fit perfectly on it, and when it came time to deflate it and put it in its storage bag, it couldn't have been easier.
What will happen next time remains to be seen, but so far so good.
Great Necessity!! February 11, 2010 Jovann Gulliver (Brooklyn, NY, USA) My husband and I bought this aerobed for our 1br apt. And so far our guests have not complained... I even slept on it and I was comfy; I slept through the entire night.... We've only used it 3 timed and it worked great... No inflation and it stayed up and
firm the entire night... I'm satisfied...I got my pennies worth...if you're thinking about purchasing for a guest in your home I will encourage you to get this bed.... You too will get your monies worth...!!
