5 out of 5 stars Sunbeam Heated Mattress Pad, Queen Size.   March 4, 2010

My wife preheats the bed from October through April. She cannot live without it!

4 out of 5 stars Toasty Nights   March 3, 2010
Patty D. (Valley Strem, New York United States)
After much consideration and reading as many reviews as I could stand, I ordered the Sunbeam Heated Mattress Pad. I am so glad that I did! I have a Tempurpedic bed and the mattress tends to get hard when it's cold. I am getting over a back injury and would have to use heating pad(s) to get the mattress soft and warm before getting in at night. No more! Now my hubby turns on my side as well as his when he goes to bed. When I go up the mattress is warm and soft. We have been able to lower the house thermostat overnight saving energy. The dual controls allows each of us to shut the heater off during the night if we want to. I was concerned about feeling the heating wires but so far that is not an issue.
I AM SO GLAD THAT I PURCHASED THIS!

5 out of 5 stars Heated Matress Pad   February 10, 2010
Jonathan I. Rapoport (Stamford, CT USA)
This is a wonderful item. It reminds me of the heated water bed I had years ago (without the waves). It differs from an electric blanket because the heat rises up through you and warms you completely. I turn it on a few minutes before bed (on the Low setting) and when I get into the bed, it's toasty warm. As advertised, the wires are sufficiently small that one doesn't feel them at all. I haven't had it any warmer than the second setting, as I haven't needed to set it any higher. Wonderful for those frigid Connecticut nights. It'll be great wherever you are as well.

5 out of 5 stars Very comfortable and heated nicely   December 10, 2009

This product has worked out very well so far. You can feel the wires underneath the bottom sheet but it's not a discomfort. The higher numbers are definitely warmer but the low setting is very comfortable through the night.

5 out of 5 stars A delightful and extremely useful bed accessory   November 27, 2009
Jerry Saperstein (Evanston, IL USA)
Way back when, the rich (and probably some of the inventive poor) warmed their beds with pans of hot coals.

Today, anyone can have the luxury of snuggling down in a toasty warm bed with products like this.

We like the Sunbeam because it fits well and the heat controls work. The wires are well insulated and aren't felt. Turn it on a half-hour or so before your bedtime and get into a nice toasty bed.

Our only complaint is that there is no timer to turn off the heat at a preset time. It would be nice, but not a big deal.

With the onset of winter, it is wonderful to have Sunbeam Heated Mattress Pad to take the chill out of the sheets.

Jerry
