Not as good as down June 20, 2010 B. Luce (Seattle, WA USA) I'm fairly happy with this comforter, only major fault is that it is not nearly as fluffy as a down comforter.
PrimalLoft Comforter June 15, 2010 Golden Granny (Montgomery, AL) I purchased this comforter last fall and used it this past winter. This comforter replaced a feather down comforter I had been using. I was apprehensive because it is a down alternative comforter and I was afraid it would not provide the warmth the down comforter had, but it proved to be just as warm and comfortable on the bed. This is a very nice, warm comforter because we turn our thermostat down very low at night in the winter. We are very pleased with it and would recommend it for any climate.
GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY June 15, 2010 R. Vidrick (VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After sleeping under a comforter for 9 nights while on vacation my husband wanted to get one for our bed. They have such a luxury feel to them!!
We wanted a comforter for VA climate to be used year round. I mistakenly ordered the medium weight down alternative instead of the light weight comforter, which turns out to be too heavy for our VA summers of 90 degree plus for days on end. If we turn the AC back to 67 it's not so bad, but I believe the lighter weight would have been a better choice as my husband stills gets too warm at night. I rated it 5 stars for the quality and price, not for my own mistake. The fabric is very nice and it has a great "hand". I found it to be a very generous size and covers our queen size bed and the 10" deep mattress. It's true as several others wrote, it's difficult to find a duvet for the queen size on Amazon, but I found a lovely one at Bed Bath and Beyond store. I have not noticed that it shed fibers or that is was "noisy". I haven't used it for very long and if later I notice shedding I will update my comments.
Soft, and warm, a very nice feel May 17, 2010 Judith D. Gosnell (Grants Pass,OR, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I absolutely love this quilt. It has a perfect warmth level for my husband and me, and the
feel of the fabric is soft and fine, not coarse like some quilt covers. It doesn't fit in my Marimekko duvet cover,
it's a little bit too long. BUT....I'll make it work, because I love the quilt. I gave away
all my old quilts. Now plan to buy another one of these for the guest room. I love all
the Pinzon brand items I have purchased. My chocolate/espresso Pinzon flannel sheets are the greatest.
Light, but warm. May 17, 2010 Gigi (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I slept like a baby under this comforter. I don't like a lot on weight, especially on my feet, but I like warmth. This comforter feels wonderful. My last one was goose down, but I like this one better. I found an Egyptian cotton cover that fits it perfectly.
