Yes, I'm giving them a 5, but after two nights will not use again September 1, 2010 J. Wollens This all started with a pillow case. I have allergies and with pets wanted silk or satin pillow cases so hair won't stick to the case. We realized that with this set on sale we could get a whole set of sheets and pillow cases for less that what two satin pillow cases cost on Amazon. We were also intrigued by the idea of trying the sheets, and I figured that would be even better for my allergies. We washed them and put them on, and we have had two nights of sleeping on them.
First let me say, they seem constructed well. We have the ivory ones and they are a bit darker than we thought from the picture but prefer that as it won't show stains as much. After reading about color transfer we made sure to wash them well and haven't had any issues. The pockets are very deep on the fitted sheet, actually too deep for our mattress so there is extra fabric on the bottom sheet, it doesn't fit tight. But, it works and would work very nice for a thick pillow top bed. All in all these are very good satin sheets for the money. Therefore we are giving them a 5 star rating.
That said, if like us, you have never slept on Satin or silk sheets I'd like to give you several warnings. We have both had the worst two nights of sleep in our lives and are exhausted. We spent the whole night, each night chasing the bedding around the bed, picking it off the floor in the middle of the night, waking up cold when the bedding slips onto the floor, adjusting pillows that then slip again from your neck, and last night my wife's pillow popped out from under her neck and onto the floor. Any slippery shiny material will do this, so it's nothing wrong with this brand (therefore the 5 star rating), but we have decided we personally hate satin/silk sheets. Today we are putting the old cotton sheets back on and I'll try using the satin pillow case with the cotton sheets for my allergies (pet hair definitely can't stick to this material). Hopefully it won't be too slippery when used when cotton sheets.
If you are sure you like satin sheets and have experience sleeping on them then this is a great deal and decent product for you. If you are new to satin sheets then be warned, prepare to have the worse sleep of you life.
Nice Sheet Set - Very Comfy August 25, 2010 ultra55371 (Princeton, MN) We received our Black Silk Sheets just yesterday and after only sleeping in them for one night; both my wife and I are hooked!
First off, these sheets fit our bed. We own a King sized, Foam bed from Ikea (Sultan Series) and have had trouble with the fitted sheets that come in regular sets to fit (We love and highly reccomend Ikea beds by the way). In addition to the mattress, we have an 2" Memory Foam and 2.5" Mattress Topper on the bed and the fitted sheet fits great with even a little room to spare if we ever decide to upgrade our Memory Foam to a 4" size.
These sheets are silky and smooth. One of the nicest things is that when you move in bed, your clothing or the comforter doesn't `stick' like conventional cotton sheets do. My wife is quite the mover in bed so this is what she liked the best.
I actually just like the feel of satin over cotton and we both a very restful sleep last night. So last night was not only like sleeping on a soft cloud, it felt as smooth and silky soft I imagine a cloud would feel like.
I highly recommend these for the comfort, fit and the price, which is far less then cotton sheets.
OH HOW SOFT AND COZY. I LOVE THEM!!!!! August 23, 2010 Jacquelyn Freeman (California) I SLEEP SO GREAT WITH THESE SHEETS---SO SOFT. I DON'T SLIDE ALL OVER LIKE SOME PEOPLE SAY THEY DO. THEY ARE GREAT!!! I AM GOING TO BUY ANOTHER SET FOR ME AND ONE FOR MY DAUGHTER. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING TO BED AND RUBBING MY FEET ALL OVER THEM, AND I AM SURE MY DAUGHTER WILL APPRECIATE AS WELL....... RECOMMEND.......
Less than Good August 19, 2010 Erin 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
These sheets are actually quite beautiful, but not cool at all. They feel as though they are hotter than my former sheets. Lying in bed is incredibly uncomfortable because the sheets retain heat, but sliding to a different area risks creating a huge snag. That's one of my biggest problems with these sheets; they have to be treated with complete delicacy or the owner will risk accumulating long snags from fingernails, toe nails, clothing, earrings, and the bottoms of feet. I don't sleep with any blankets on my bed anymore, mostly because the sheets are just too hot if I do, so I can't speak as to whether or not they will slip off. I purchased the gold sheets, and didn't experience any dye problems with them. But I did wash them three times immediately out of the package. All in all, I wish I had never purchased them. They are relatively cheap, but just not worth it. If anything I sleep worse now.
Also, the sheets are thicker and darker than they appear in the picture. I sincerely doubt that is even a picture of them. They are still very pretty, but not at all like in the picture.

The material doesnt breathe and feels super cheap. I wanted a satiny, sleek feel on occasion and I hated them! MAde me sweat-not soft at all. Just felt cheap and hot. DO NOT BUY!
