I bought these and wrote a review before - they are wonderful sheets. The problem I recently found is that if you wash them in warm water, they SHRINK! I can still get them on the bed, but they are definitely smaller, so you MUST wash them in COLD water. Never imagined they would shrink and needed to wash sheets in cold water, but they did.

These sheets seem to be a good deal for the money but I have only washed them once. This is my first set of 1000 tc but they are much more comfortable than my older sheets. Think nice hotel sheets. Will need to see how they hold up.
Pros- Price
Comfort vs lower thread count sheets
Deep pockets fit bed and keep sheets in place
Two pillow cases
Cons- Quality seems fair
Top sheet seems a bit narrow
They do stay wrinkled

The sheets are a good quality. If you like a thicker hotel feel then you will like these sheets. If you like a softer snuggly feel you will not like these sheets. They are hotel quality, with a paper like feel.

First of all, the current picture as of Feb. 2010 shows a more shiny, more "satiny" looking sheet set. The sheets I received did not have this luster. They look nice, but don't have the luster shown in the Amazon picture.
At the current price of under $70, the 1000 TC Egyptian sheets are a reasonably good deal, but if you are looking for "ultra-premium" 1000 TC sheets that have a sheen to them similar to satin, you will probably want to look elsewhere.

This is my first experience with 1000 count sheets. They do not disappoint at all. They make we want to replace all of my current sets with these.
