Product Description "Your pillow is truly a remarkable product. I have recommended it to family, friends and patients." - T.Hold, M.D.
We all know that heartburn can turn a good night's sleep into a nightmare. If you suffer from acid reflux, sleep apnea, snoring or any other digestive or breathing problems, the Medslant Wedge Pillow can be the natural solution you're looking for.
The 32" long pillow supports and elevates your upper body, using gravity to keep acid down and your airways open, plus it won't put extra pressure on your stomach like those short wedges do, "folding" your body and making problems worse.
The hypoallergenic foam wedge has a washable, removable zippered cover. The package also includes an extra pillow case that folds into the included eco-friendly travel case. Just fold the pillow, zip it into the case and it's ready for under the bed or overhead on an airplane.
Use whatever kind of personal pillow you like with this wedge and sleep on your side or you back, its big enough!
"I slept more soundly and my reflux cough progressively diminished. I will recommend it to any of my patients." - Paul Jelliner, M.D.
"After using the terrific MedSlant pillow, neither of us get acid reflux or even take medicine any more. I recommend Medslant to everyone I know." - Steve O'Brien, Travel Show Live.
"Since using MedSlant I've been able to stop taking 2 PPI pills a day. MedSlant really does work!" - Mary, AL
And talking of acid reflux pills which the FDA warned can increase risk of fractures, the only side effect from the Medslant Pillow is a good nights sleep!
Doctors, authors and people just like you have not only reduced their heartburn, but actually solved their acid reflux problems without the need for drugs. Maybe a Medslant is what you need to solve your acid reflux.
Note: as pillows are personal health products, to protect you from transmittable diseases they are not returnable.

medslant pillow review June 16, 2010 newzev The pillow is rather expensive for what you get. Each morning I wake up and realize I slid down half the pillow partially negating the positive effects of the pillow.
You still need an additional soft pillow for your head to sleep comfortably in addition to this pillow.
Background, leading up to buy the pillow: I was going for a f/u 5 yr colonoscopy.
I have been taking take 20mg Aciphex for GERD for years. My gastroenterologist asked me if I was having any heart burn. I said a little and he did both a colonoscopy and endoscopy. He said I had mild irritation of the esophagus. He said I should double the Aciphex which I did. Mind you, as part of the procedures I had a polyp removed from my stomach and 5 polyps removed from my colon, none of which were cancerous, so the side effects could have also been do to the procedures. But since he saw mild esophagus irritation he doubled the aciphex to 40 mg. I immediately started having additional side effects (it is so long I don't remember what they were but I did not feel good. It could have been additional eczema on my face and chest, dry mouth or a head ache, I don't remember.) So I went back to 20mg of Aciphex and bought the Medslant pillow. I told him about the Medslant pillow and he felt the price was way too high and he felt wedge pillows were minimally effective. But by this point the Medslant pillow was alrready ordered and was delivered. For one to two months it seemed the heart burn seemed to go away which I attributed to the Medslant pillow. But now for no apparent reason the heart burn, in spite of the Med slant pillow, has come back and it is worse than before. I will go my gastroenterologist to see if he wants me to up the Aciphex to 40 mg or start a new medication. This has been a very frustrating pillow. All I am saying, is my doctor may have been right, wedge pillows are minimally effective for GERD.
Husband stopped snoring and taking Nexium May 7, 2010 JEB (california) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My husband has acid reflux and was taking Nexium but it was not helping him after two years of trying it. He also snored. So I bought him this pillow. It took him about two nights to adjust to it. He also uses a Save your Face pillow with it because he has neck issues. They work well together. He is a side sleeper. He said he can't wait to tell his doctor about his success with this drug free solution and thinks his doctor should suggest this type of pillow to other patients with snoring or acid reflux problems. The pillow travel bag is a plus. It goes where we go.
Now for the negative. I bought one for myself. I am a stomach sleeper and I was not able to adjust to it so I no longer use it. Positive for a side or back sleeper and negative for a stomach sleeper.
wedge pillow for acid reflux by MedSlant March 10, 2010 Tigerlily64 (MI) Purchased at Amazon: This wedge works fine if you are alone in bed. When your partner is in bed, the wedge pillow leans toward this other person, due to his/her weight. The wedge pillow now creates an unstable surface to sleep on. I have a very good mattress that is only 6 months old, so this is unacceptable. The wedge pillow needs to be heavier, so it is more stable. On the positive side, I really do like the carrying case. That is very convenient.

It Moves A Bit April 3, 2009 V. Chen 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Medslant wedge pillow is great for keeping your head higher than the rest of your body when you sleep. The problem is that your mattress tends to slide down, so you need to readjust your mattress regularly to maintain the optimum height and slant.
I bought 2 pillows and put them side-by-side to prop up a full-size mattress. So while they're not the perfect solution, they sure beat using a stack of regular pillows.
Each pillow comes with a nice travel case, but I would probably only bring them on car trips. They're too bulky to bring on a plane.
