Amazon.com Product Description
Weighing in at just 9-1/2 pounds, the DeWalt DW368 heavy-duty 7-1/4-inch lightweight circular saw is designed to reduce user fatigue and increase productivity. With a 15-smp 2,200-MWO motor, this saw is powerful enough for tough, professional grade applications. Other features include a 56-degree beveling capacity with stops at 45 and 22.5 degrees for aggressive bevel cuts while allowing user to locate common angles quickly, and a magnesium shoe designed for increased durability. A clear line of sight aids in blade visibility from any angle, and a lower guard design improves performance when making bevel cuts and cutting shims. This saw comes with a carbide-tipped blade and a blade wrench.

I've had this now for about a month and there really isn't one thing I could find wrong with this saw. It runs smooth, has a good line of sight, feels well balanced and doesn't bog down on any of the cuts. I also really liked the lower blade guard. It seems to be designed differenty so that it never gets hung up in the material. The case has storage for a couple of blades. I've tried the Porter-Cable, Milwaukee, and Bosch, but this is my favorite.

This is a great saw. You won't be disappointed.

If DURABILITY and QUALITY are huge issues to you, consider this saw. But, if you are more concerned with the FEELING of 'durability' and 'quality,' go for another.

3 out of 5 stars light, but not smooth   November 4, 2005

i used this saw for a few days--a co-worker has one. it is very light (noticeably lighter than my milwaukee saw), and well balanced. it does feel somewhat cheap, in the plastic-from-walmart sense. when started it also feels a bit rough when compared to its competitors from hitachi and milwaukee, in particular.

if weight is a huge issue, consider this saw, but if durability and the feel of quality are bigger issues, go for another.
